Catholic Church Of St. Monica

About this church

St. Monica Catholic Church is a Duluth parish whose mission is to seek and witness Christ through worship, faith formation, moral life, and prayer. Sunday Mass is celebrated at 8:00 a.m. in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, in Latin, and at 10:45 a.m., 12:45 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. in English using the Novus Ordo. A Saturday vigil Mass begins at 4:00 p.m., with a separate Saturday morning Mass at 9:00.

Daily Mass is offered Monday and Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday at 6:30 and 9:00 a.m. The parish supports elementary, middle-school, and high-school faith formation and presents evangelization and ongoing conversion as responsibilities shared by the whole community. Its ministries also extend beyond Georgia through a Haiti mission partnership. Visitors should use 1700 Buford Highway and check the official Mass-times page for confession hours, holy-day schedules, and liturgical changes before attending, since the parish offers more worship times and forms than a typical single-service listing conveys.
