Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church

About this church

Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation in Eatonton. Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and is available both onsite and online. The church summarizes its common life with three movements: loving God, loving one another, and loving the community. Its visitor guide gives newcomers a single, clear gathering time, while sermon resources make it possible to hear the church's teaching before attending.

Families have nursery care for children from birth through age three during both Sunday school and worship, with background-checked volunteers and a toddler lesson during the education hour. Older children have their own formation opportunities, and visitors can use occasional newcomer luncheons to meet leaders and other people exploring the congregation. The church's vision is to form disciples whose shared life demonstrates God's reign through worship, relationships, service, and witness. Someone seeking a Reformed or PCA church around Lake Oconee will find one central Sunday service, online participation, structured children's care, and a defined path for learning about membership and community life. Consult the events calendar for the Sunday-school hour and the date of the next visitor luncheon.
