Parkway Baptist Temple

About this church

Parkway Baptist Temple is a Fort Oglethorpe congregation offering Sunday worship, classes, nursery, children, teenagers, college ministry, AWANA, missions, pastoral Bible study, meals, music, and seasonal events. Its schedule is unusually detailed, letting first-time households coordinate coffee, age-based education, childcare, main worship, and Wednesday programs.

The coffee shop opens Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Nursery opens at 9:15, and adult Connect Classes plus Sunday School for children through high school run 9:30–10:15. Morning worship begins at 10:30. Children’s Church begins after the choir; nursery for birth through twenty-four months and classes for ages two through five remain available through the service. Wednesday dinner runs 5:30–6:30 p.m. AWANA meets 6:30–8:00, while student ministry for teenagers and college-age participants and the pastor’s Bible study begin at 6:45. Public pages do not specify dress, parking, accessibility, worship duration, child check-in, pickup security, volunteer screening, livestreaming, or Communion frequency. Dated listings show additional Sunday evening and seasonal events, but these should not be mistaken for a permanent weekly evening service. Mission partnerships and trips extend participation beyond the campus.
