Hartwell First Methodist Church

About this church

Hartwell First Methodist Church offers contemporary and traditional worship at both 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Sundays. Contemporary services meet in the Fellowship Hall with a family-friendly mix of modern music; traditional services use choir- and ensemble-led hymns in a classic Methodist setting. Services are also streamed and available on demand, so newcomers can compare formats before choosing a room and hour.

Children, ECHO student ministry, adult groups, prayer, preschool, and service opportunities help families connect beyond worship. The church invites people to build friendships, serve others, and make a kingdom difference, linking the large Sunday menu with smaller communities and practical action. Its history page explains the congregation's roots in Hartwell, while bulletins and newsletters show current life. Because the same two hours each contain two different styles, first-time visitors should decide on both time and room rather than assuming 9:00 means contemporary and 11:00 traditional. Families can review children's and student schedules in advance and use the I'm New page for the most current arrival guidance.
