Vertical Church Hiawassee

About this church

Vertical Church's Hiawassee campus meets at 1460 U.S. Highway 76 on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. The gathering features live worship and a message broadcast from the Blairsville campus, with live teaching in Hiawassee monthly. Kids Church is available during the service. Families who keep children with them can use worship bags or clipboards and a family worship area with rocking chairs and space to play. The visitor guide also mentions friendly parking-lot volunteers, coffee and snacks, and a Bible-centered message of about 35 minutes.

The church's mission is to compel the surrounding world to follow Jesus passionately. Small groups are presented as the place where community and discipleship meet, while middle- and high-school students gather Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:00 at the Blairsville campus for games, worship, and biblical teaching. Vertical's Table Food Ministry brings another practical dimension to that mission: volunteers cook, transport, set up, and serve food for people facing food insecurity and for community groups such as first responders, hospital workers, school staff, and public employees. The ministry partners with other North Georgia churches to pair nutritious food with compassionate support.
