First Baptist Church of Mableton

About this church

First Baptist Church of Mableton meets at 5385 Church Street SW. Sunday Bible study begins at 9:15 a.m. and Celebration Worship at 10:30. The church describes the service as casual and comfortable, with contemporary or modern songs led by a praise team, choir, and band. Children have their own Sunday Bible class at 9:15. AWANA for children and worship and Bible study for teenagers both meet Wednesday at 5:45 p.m., giving families programs for different ages on the same evening.

The congregation combines worship and formation with practical service in western Cobb County. Its food pantry opens Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for residents of Mableton, Austell, and Powder Springs. Missions also include an annual international trip to Mexico, while the church app supports relationships, milestones, and participation between gatherings. First-time visitors can hear worship online and review separate pages for children, students, missions, and events. The most useful planning details are straightforward: Bible study precedes the main service, clothing is informal, the music is contemporary, and Wednesday children and youth begin together. Those specifics help distinguish FBC Mableton from a generic Baptist listing and show how Sunday worship, family discipleship, and food assistance fit within one weekly rhythm.
