Oxford Baptist Church

About this church

Oxford Baptist Church begins Sunday small groups at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 10:45 at 305 Emory Street in Oxford. The main service combines worship, teaching, and fellowship and ordinarily concludes between noon and 12:15. The congregation describes itself as culturally and generationally diverse, with a “Strong Faith, Strong Family” emphasis expressed through biblical teaching, prayer, discipleship, service, and missions.

Children in prekindergarten through fifth grade start the 10:45 service beside their parents. When an onscreen prompt appears, they meet Kids Life leaders at the front and walk to the adjacent Fellowship Hall for a Bible lesson and reinforcing activities; parents collect them there after worship. The broader visitor page also describes care for infants and elementary-age children. NexGen serves middle and high school students through teaching, worship, events, friendship, and practical discipleship. A newcomer wanting conversation before the larger gathering can arrive for a 9:45 group, while families attending only worship should allow time to learn the children’s pickup route. Livestream and previous messages are available from the official site for anyone who wants to sample the service before visiting.
