The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Pearson

About this church

Pearson Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meets at 376 Pearson St, the only meetinghouse the directory lists for Pearson, Georgia. The nearest other meetinghouse is about fourteen miles away in Douglas, and this building has an accessible entrance, parking and seating.

Sacrament meeting for the Pearson Ward begins Sundays at 10 a.m. and lasts close to an hour, with hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation. A second hour of classes for all ages, including Primary, follows right after. There's no cost to attend and no collection taken. A chapel, classrooms and a cultural hall typically fill out a building like this one. Because meeting times are set locally and can be revised from year to year, a quick call before a first visit is a reasonable step.
