About this church

Jodeco Methodist Church in Stockbridge is a congregation of the Global Methodist Church, and its teaching draws on Scripture and on the teachings of John Wesley. Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and lasts about an hour. Before the service, Jodeco Java offers coffee and a home-cooked breakfast at 9 a.m. in Kuglar Hall. The church's music ministry includes a choir and a praise band. A Wednesday Bible study meets at 6:30 p.m. The congregation started in Henry County in 1990 and met in schools and daycares before it settled on Jodeco Road. Visitors should confirm service times on the church website.

Kingdom Kids provides Bible lessons, crafts and activities for children during Sunday worship. The children also take part in service projects such as assembling care packages and visiting nursing homes. The youth program runs gaming groups in local schools as well as family game and movie nights. JOY Women meets on the third Thursday of each month for devotions, discussion and mission projects. The church's Jodeco on the Road Food Pantry has served Henry County families for more than 20 years. The campus has plenty of parking near the main entrance, and greeters are there to help first-time guests. Casual dress is fine.
