Buford Presbyterian Church

About this church

Buford Presbyterian Church follows a seasonal Sunday pattern. From August through May, traditional worship begins at 8:30 and 11 a.m.; June and July use one 10 a.m. service. During the school year, adult and youth Sunday School and classes for ages two and three meet at 9:45. Children from pre-K through fifth grade can sing in choir at 9:30 and attend Sunday School from 10 to 10:45. The 11 a.m. service includes children's worship for ages three through fifth grade and nursery care for children through age two.

The congregation places worship at the center of its life while pairing Sunday services with Christian education, fellowship, and service. Adult options include discussion-based Bible study, a class covering the Bible, theology, and Presbyterian history, a parents' class focused on strengthening families, and a periodic three-week Welcome Class for visitors and prospective members. A Tuesday evening Bible study meets online at 7 p.m. The church also operates a weekday school and invites neighbors into special events and mission projects. Families should match their visit to the current seasonal schedule: the two-service pattern makes room for education between August and May, while summer consolidates the congregation at 10. The official homepage carries current notices that may supersede the recurring calendar.
