Houston Lake Presbyterian Church

About this church

Houston Lake Presbyterian Church is a Kathleen-area congregation seeking to know Jesus better and make him known. Its worship is God-centered, gospel-ordered, participatory, and marked by reverential joy rather than an entertainment model. Historic creeds and hymns appear alongside newer tunes and forms, while prayer, Bible reading, preaching, Communion, education, youth, and other ministries support a Reformed church community.

School of Discipleship for all ages begins Sunday at 9:15 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30. The school does not meet on Easter, during July, or on the final two Sundays of December. An evening service is held at 6:00 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. The Lord’s Supper is observed most Sunday mornings. During worship, Teach Me to Worship helps children from age four through first grade understand the service’s elements. Dress may be whatever feels comfortable, and greeters are available to help visitors find rooms. The official visit page gives the location as 101 O’Brien Drive, Kathleen, even though the directory groups it with nearby Warner Robins; this is one congregation, not a separate Houston Lake campus.
