Kalaheo Missionary Church

About this church

Kalaheo Missionary Church on Kauai holds its Sunday service at 9 a.m. on Hokua Road in the center of Kalaheo. A free breakfast with drinks is served, and guests are encouraged to arrive around 8 a.m. or linger after the service to talk story. The church sums up its purpose as loving God, loving others, and making disciples, and it describes itself as Biblically aligned, Spirit-led, and devoted to prayer and unity as it seeks to serve the island.

KMC Kids serves children, with registration available through the church website. Stoke KMC, the youth ministry, meets Tuesday nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church for worship, Bible teaching, small-group discipleship, and large-group games, and it also runs short break camps, group hikes, game days, and beach days during the year. Adults can join Life Groups, which meet weekly for about 90 minutes to build friendships, study Scripture, and pray; the church suggests choosing a group with people in a similar stage of life and offers an online signup. Other offerings include discipleship training through the KITI program, a Bethel University extension program on Kauai (BUx), and Filled with Praise, a weekly devotional for women offered as a free PDF. Services are available on the website's streaming page. Confirm service and ministry times on the website before visiting.
