River House Church

About this church

River House Church meets at 4 p.m. Sunday at 4950 North Bradley Street in Garden City. Prayer begins beforehand in Auditorium 2, and parking signs direct drivers to the main lot. The first half of the service is devoted to extended worship that usually lasts forty-five to sixty minutes; teaching follows in the second half. That structure suits visitors looking for a long, participatory music-and-prayer experience rather than a brief opening set.

River House describes worship as a response to God's character and a way of ministering to Jesus in love. Its vision is to cultivate a community shaped by Christ's beauty, love, resurrection, redemption, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Communion uses bread and wine as symbols remembering Jesus' sacrifice, while the congregation's beliefs connect spiritual formation with the Great Commission. Youth ministry helps students learn God's presence, develop relationships with peers and mentors, and understand identity as people made in God's image and redeemed by Christ. A newcomer should plan enough time for the extended musical portion and can arrive early for prayer rather than entering only at 4. Families seeking youth details should consult the current schedule, while musicians can review worship-team audition information if they want to serve after becoming acquainted with the church.
