St. Mark's Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is an Aurora congregation seeking to share Christ’s abundant love through worship, relationships, learning, service, and public engagement. As a Reconciling in Christ church, it explicitly welcomes people across backgrounds and life circumstances and treats diversity as part of God’s design. Members connect through meals, book and Bible conversations, outings, study, and service. The church also describes faith as something lived openly through advocacy, practical help, and sustained work for justice in the surrounding community.

Weekend worship is offered Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The site does not publish a reliable current service length, children’s check-in deadline, or detailed distinction between the two gatherings, so households needing those particulars should contact the church before traveling to South Edgelawn Drive. Faith-development, confirmation, and high-school youth programming appear in the ministry navigation, but their current recurring hours are not stated in the accessible pages. Visitors can use the worship page to review the congregation’s liturgical life and the Who We Are page to understand its inclusive commitments before attending. Since special events and feast days may alter the ordinary weekend pattern, the homepage’s current schedule should take precedence over older announcements or third-party directory times.
