Immanuel Lutheran Church

About this church

Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Belvidere campus offers a heritage service Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m., followed by an updated service Sunday at 10:15. Heritage worship draws on hymns, pipe organ, choirs, instruments, and bells; the later service uses modern music and is often led by the Praise Team. A Wednesday 11:00 a.m. “Flashback” service provides a smaller setting using the previous Sunday’s sermon and readings.

Young children can participate in Christ For Kids around sermon time during the less formal service, and the church also describes nursery and quiet-room support. Youth connect through Sunday learning and regular Sunday-evening gatherings, while missions, music, men’s, and women’s ministries extend participation through the week. First-time guests can select a service by both time and worship style: Saturday evening or Sunday 8:00 for the classic Lutheran setting, and Sunday 10:15 for the more contemporary format. Families should confirm current nursery staffing because one children’s page retains older service-hour references, and holiday weekends may replace the normal schedule with a combined service.
