St Francis of Assisi

About this church

St. Francis of Assisi Parish is a culturally diverse Roman Catholic community in Bolingbrook whose mission is to celebrate and share the love of Jesus through worship and service. Weekend Masses are offered Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and noon. Daily Mass is celebrated Monday through Saturday at 9:00 a.m., followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 9:30 to 10:30. Reconciliation is available Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and by arrangement.

Newcomers, returning Catholics, and people exploring the Catholic faith can use dedicated paths for registration and Christian initiation. Families will find religious formation for grades one through eight, sacramental preparation, and Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 10:00 Sunday Mass. Parish life also reflects the congregation's cultural breadth through Filipino American and Guadalupano ministries, alongside young adults, seniors, Bible study, music, and small Christian communities. Local service includes meals at the Daybreak Center, home Communion visits, pregnancy support, and a St. Vincent de Paul conference assisting area families with food, clothing, utilities, and housing costs.
