Our Savior Lutheran Church

About this church

Our Savior Lutheran Church is a Carol Stream community where Sunday worship, Christian education, fellowship groups, service, and mission agencies share the same congregational life. Its site highlights children and youth education, men’s and women’s Bible study, practical volunteering, and a garden that raises vegetables for a food pantry. Worship includes Communion and is available both in the room and on YouTube. The church explicitly removes dress anxiety by noting that jeans and business attire are equally acceptable.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in person and online. The worship page lists children’s Sunday School at 9:45, while the children’s page says ages four through eleven begin at 9:30; families should arrive for the earlier time and confirm the day’s classroom transition. Women’s Bible study offers alternating Monday sessions at 7:00 p.m. and alternating Thursday sessions at 10:00 a.m., so neither should be treated as weekly without checking the calendar. Published bulletins and YouTube sermons help visitors preview the service and verify seasonal changes. The combination of one primary worship hour and overlapping children’s formation means parents can plan to check in near the start of worship rather than looking for a separate education hour.
