Life Church

About this church

Life Church is a non-denominational congregation associated with Chicago Heights and focused on transforming lives through Jesus while building hope, healing, and higher expectations. Sunday School begins at 7:30 a.m. and worship at 9, with online participation available. Weekly discipleship is listed Tuesday at 7 p.m., Bible study Wednesday at 7, and a Thursday prayer call at 6 a.m. followed by women’s prayer at 7:30 p.m. The congregation began June 12, 2016, at an Orland Park theater after emerging from Victory Apostolic Church, and it emphasizes holiness, Bible-centered preaching, contemporary praise, Christian education, fellowship, evangelism, and culturally relevant ministry grounded in Scripture.

Ministries span children, youth, young adults, women, men, singles, seniors, discipleship, self-care, grief support, compassionate care, outreach, scholarships, hospitality, prayer, baptism, audio-visual work, and security. The youth ministry describes a safe learning environment, while community outreach connects people with practical resources and care. Visitors should verify the meeting location: the current homepage and contact page identify 925 MacArthur Drive in Chicago Heights, but legacy “Who We Are” copy says worship and Bible study meet at 4151 183rd Street in Country Club Hills. The homepage is also internally current enough to advertise the 2026 anniversary and recent sermons, making the discrepancy important rather than safely dismissible. Public pages do not specify service length, dress, parking, accessibility, child check-in, nursery ages, volunteer screening, Communion practice, or livestream delay.
