City Light Church

About this church

City Light Church meets at 2325 North First Street in DeKalb, at the corner of First and Dresser near DeKalb High School. Sunday begins with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9:00 to 9:35 a.m.; kids check-in opens at 9:30, and worship starts at 10:00. Guest parking is reserved near the entrance. The service combines worship, a short introduction to the church, announcements, a five-minute connection break, more music, and a Bible message. Dress is casual, and free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa are available.

City Light Kids serves walking infants through fifth grade with interactive, age-appropriate teaching. Volunteers are background-checked, the children's hallway is monitored, and a private, unstaffed nursery with a service video feed is available for feeding or settling a baby. Students in grades six through twelve meet Sunday night, with prayer from 5:45 to 6:15 and youth service from 6:30 to 8:00. The program includes worship, teaching, small-group conversation, and time to connect. City Light describes its broader mission as living and sharing the message of Jesus across DeKalb County through extravagant love, hope, joy, healing, and freedom, with Life Groups offering another route into community.
