Immanuel Lutheran Church

About this church

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dixon worships Sundays at 9:00 a.m. at 1013 Franklin Grove Road. A Saturday 5:30 p.m. service alternates between Immanuel on the first, third, and fifth weekends and St. Paul Lutheran Church on the second and fourth, so the Saturday location must be checked carefully. Sunday worship is also carried on Facebook, archived on YouTube, and broadcast at 9:30 on WIXN 1460 AM. During the school year, Sunday school serves children ages three through eleven.

First-time logistics are unusually clear. Parking is available in front and behind the building, but the wheelchair ramp is at the front entrance. Children’s ministry uses lessons, games, crafts, music, and small groups with trained, background-checked leaders. Adults can connect through forums, women’s circles, music, a coffee bar, and service projects such as Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity work, and meals for grieving families. Immanuel’s Lutheran life combines liturgical worship with a visible community-service rhythm, while its streaming, radio, and recorded options make it possible to sample a service from home. Visitors considering Saturday worship should verify which church hosts that week.
