Christus Victor Lutheran Church

About this church

Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Elk Grove Village offers blended worship at 5:00 p.m. Saturdays, a modern family-oriented service at 9:00 a.m. Sundays, and traditional worship at 11:00. The congregation summarizes its life as Gather, Grow, and Go: gathering for strength, growing as disciples, and carrying Jesus' love into the world throughout the week.

The first Saturday each month includes special music followed by food and fellowship. Children's, learning, service, and community ministries create routes beyond the three worship choices, while the new-visitors page explains the campus and congregation. People can select a service by musical style without changing the church's Lutheran focus on Scripture, prayer, preaching, and sacrament. Families may find the 9:00 modern gathering especially accessible, while visitors who value classic liturgy can choose 11:00. Saturday guests can check whether the date includes the monthly meal. Current event listings should be reviewed for festival services and seasonal education changes.
