The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Geneseo

About this church

A meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stands at 23590 Grange Rd in Geneseo, Illinois. There is another meetinghouse about 18 miles away, in East Moline. For Geneseo, the directory lists only this single meetinghouse.

Because wards are organized geographically, more than one congregation may share this building on a staggered schedule. This meetinghouse likely follows the typical layout of a chapel, classrooms, and a gymnasium-style cultural hall. Two hours make up the Sunday gathering: sacrament meeting first, hymns, prayers, and member talks included, then a second hour of classes. First-time visitors are welcome on Sundays; attendance is free and no collection plate is used. Given that schedules shift over time, check the locator tool at churchofjesuschrist.org or call the phone number on this page before visiting.
