Saint Petronille Catholic Church

About this church

Saint Petronille Parish is a Glen Ellyn Catholic community centered on the Eucharist as the source and summit of parish life. Mass, prayer and adoration, sacred music, sacraments, a parish school, religious education, outreach, and many volunteer opportunities connect worship with formation and service. The parish invites newcomers to register through the office and explore ways to participate in the community.

Weekend Mass is celebrated Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30, 9:30, 11:30 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. Weekday Mass begins Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:15 a.m., with an 8:00 a.m. Mass Monday through Saturday. Confession is offered Friday at 7:00 a.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and Sunday at 4:00. The first-party calendar should be checked for holy days, funerals, school events, adoration, and other liturgical changes. A recurring service opportunity runs on the second Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the school parking lot, but visitors should consult the service page for its current purpose and any requested items before arriving. The parish website provides a campus map and livestream, both useful on a multi-building school and church property. It does not advertise general child care during Mass, so families should distinguish religious education and the parish school from a Sunday nursery.
