About this church
Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Lockport describes its priorities in three words: Christ, family, and community. Its website directs newcomers to Sunday-service special events, a Wednesday Bible-study link, daily devotionals, and a Zoom access-request form, but it does not publish a dependable weekly worship hour on the researched pages. A first-time visitor should therefore confirm the current Sunday schedule with the church rather than rely on an undated listing. The site also highlights Vacation Bible School for 2026 and maintains a collection of practical forms and congregational resources.
The ministry directory shows several ways to participate beyond a Sunday service, including community outreach, youth, women, dance, cards, deacons, and Christian education. Shiloh's Ministry Council coordinates those areas through leaders for community ministry, youth ministry, and education. Behind those programs, an Administrative Council oversees legal, financial, business, executive, committee, and property matters. A separate Trustee Board meets on the second Saturday of the month and cares for the church's land, building, furnishings, equipment, and financial review. That unusually visible governance structure can help prospective members understand how ministry and stewardship responsibilities are organized. Guests interested in Bible study or a particular ministry should use the official contact details to verify access and timing.
