Community Presbyterian Church

About this church

Community Presbyterian Church in Mount Prospect worships at 10:00 a.m. Sundays, followed by Coffee Hour. The congregation's central location on North Main Street and its weekly invitation make the morning easy to understand: gather for Presbyterian worship, then remain for conversation and community. Newsletters and online updates connect the service with church, member, and village news during the week.

The church's history reflects a congregation that began with limited resources and improvised meeting spaces before developing its present campus, a story that gives its community identity local roots. Worship, music, education, care, and service opportunities are communicated through the current calendar and newsletter rather than an elaborate visitor program. First-time guests can arrive shortly before 10:00 and plan to stay afterward for Coffee Hour, which is likely the best setting to ask questions and meet people. Anyone traveling during holidays or severe weather should confirm the schedule on the homepage. Remote researchers can use the official history and contact pages to distinguish this Mount Prospect congregation from churches with similar names.
