First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church of Rochelle meets at 810 Woolf Court. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m., and morning worship follows at 10:30 with a Facebook livestream. Wednesday Family Bible Study runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nursery care is available during regular services, and the church does not prescribe a particular dress level, asking guests to wear what they consider appropriate for worship.

The congregation presents Scripture and Jesus Christ as the center of church life. Sunday children's church, Wednesday AWANA, teen Sunday School, and Omega Teens create different settings for younger worshipers, while adults gather for Bible study. Because AWANA operates by school-year seasons, families should confirm the current registration and calendar rather than rely on an older program date. The official site also provides live video, later video viewing, sermon audio, and an archive extending back several years, making it possible to sample the church's conservative music and Bible preaching before attending. A first-time family can arrive for the 9:30 classes or begin with the more public 10:30 worship service.
