Salem Grace United Methodist Church

About this church

Grace United Methodist Church in Salem gathers for Sunday worship at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday School at 10:15. Its five stated values combine spiritual growth through worship, prayer, Bible study, and Christian conversation with outreach in Salem and beyond. The church welcomes multiple generations and emphasizes making disciples of Jesus locally and throughout the world through worship, service, and shared formation.

Children take part in age-appropriate groups, summer Vacation Bible School, camp, and service opportunities. Community care is especially visible in the diaper ministry, which offers Thursday morning access from 9:00 to 11:00 as well as a regular monthly distribution, and in food-pantry and local service projects. United Women in Faith, youth activity, scouts, and other groups provide additional paths into the congregation. The combination of an early worship hour and later education makes it possible to attend both parts of the Sunday morning. Families seeking a specific age group or outreach program should check the live ministry pages, since special events and distribution dates can change.
