Cornerstone Chinese Church

About this church

Cornerstone Chinese Church in Villa Park offers parallel English, Cantonese, and Mandarin worship services Sundays at 10:30 a.m., in person and online. Christian education for adults, youth, and children begins at 9:30. This multilingual structure lets a household choose its preferred worship language while sharing one campus and education hour. The church is at 5 North Princeton Avenue and describes itself as a family-oriented, multicultural community rather than a ministry limited to one generation or language group.

The congregation traces more than 115 years of Chicagoland history. Formerly Chinese Bible Church of Oak Park, it moved to Villa Park in September 2019. Children learn through Bible teaching, songs, and crafts at both weekly hours, while Ignite Student Ministry brings grades six through twelve together every other Saturday at 6:00 p.m. for worship, games, Scripture study, small-group discussion, and prayer. Life Groups provide another route into ongoing relationships, and mission partnerships extend from local evangelism to overseas workers. A first-time family can combine the 9:30 education hour with 10:30 worship; visitors planning around Ignite should verify which Saturday is on the alternating schedule.
