Cornerstone Baptist Church

About this church

Cornerstone Baptist Church gathers in Winchester with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30. Youth meet Sundays at 6:15 p.m.; a Bible Fellowship Group follows on Wednesdays at 6, and the men's Bible study meets Thursdays at 7. The congregation's published beliefs identify the Bible as its final standard and describe the church as an autonomous local body of baptized believers. Its practice includes believer's baptism by immersion and two ordinances, baptism and the Lord's Supper. Pastor Ted Rhoades is bivocational and describes his focus as being a natural witness to Christ in Winchester and beyond.

Winchester Christian Preschool is a ministry of Cornerstone and meets at the same address. Its published schedule places the 3K class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and the 4K class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, both from 8:30 to 11:30. The school follows the public-school calendar for holidays and snow days. The church's event page also points visitors toward seasonal activities such as Vacation Bible School and uses an onsite welcome-desk signup for volunteers. The official contact page lists the property as 226 Cornerstone Drive, rather than the directory's McGlasson Drive wording. Newcomers should confirm current calendar dates and ask the church about practical matters absent online: service length and music, nursery registration, parking and accessibility, expected attire, Communion frequency, and livestream availability.
