Delphi First Assembly of God

About this church

Delphi First Assembly of God is an Assemblies of God church on U.S. 421 in Delphi. The main worship service is Sunday at 10 a.m., and the church says its services draw on music, theater and media. Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers during that service, and children's classes follow morning worship: Ember Kids for ages four to six and Ignite Kids for kindergarten through fifth grade. Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. are set aside for youth and home groups.

Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. bring classes for women, men and youth, along with Trail Life and American Heritage Girls troops for boys and girls. Ablaze Youth serves students ages 12 to 18 with small groups, meals, trips and camps. Home groups meet in homes across the area, from Lafayette to Rossville. Connecting Women offers weekly fellowship and regional events, and the men's group plans outings and relationship-building activities. The church also hosts Primera Asamblea de Dios, a Spanish-language ministry that holds Bible studies on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and is listed on its own page of the website. The church office is open Monday through Thursday. Times may change during the year, so check the website or call before a first visit.
