Faith United Methodist Church

About this church

Faith United Methodist Church offers traditional worship Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and contemporary worship at 10:45, with the later service livestreamed. FaithKids Sunday School begins at 9:45 for infants through age four, kindergarten through third grade, and fourth through sixth grade. During worship, kindergarten through eighth-grade children begin in the sanctuary and may leave after music for Breakout; on the first Sunday of the month, they remain for Family Worship. Breakthrough Youth and J-Squad occupy the 6:30–8 p.m. Wednesday window, while seventh through twelfth graders have a Sunday Bible study from 6:30 to 7:30.

The congregation formed when Castle, Grace, Good Shepherd, and Simpson United Methodist churches voted in 1993 to become one faith family; it began worshiping together in the present facility in 1996. Care and mission remain visible in Stephen Ministry for people experiencing grief or crisis, monthly support for different organizations, collections of food, toiletries, phones, and eyeglasses, and local and international service projects. Kingdom Kids is a separate weekday daycare for children from six weeks through twelve years, operating Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. A visitor can match traditional or contemporary preference to the two Sunday hours. Parents should distinguish Sunday church programming from enrolled daycare, and check whether Family Worship changes the usual Breakout pattern.
