Liberty Bible Church

About this church

Liberty Bible Church’s LaPorte campus is an evangelical congregation in La Porte, Indiana, and one of three Liberty locations serving Northwest Indiana. Each campus has live worship and children’s programming while sharing the same weekly teaching. The LaPorte services combine Bible-centered preaching with a mix of newer and traditional songs, Communion, and an informal atmosphere. The church encourages people to be known, loved, and strengthened through relationships, Bible study, service, and prayer. Children and youth classes meet during the later service, and the campus also offers student gatherings, GriefShare, support groups, and community-service opportunities throughout the week.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. at 608 Colfax Avenue. Children’s and youth classes are offered during the 10:45 gathering. First-time guests are encouraged to arrive about ten minutes early for parking, coffee, and secure children’s check-in; volunteers wearing yellow lanyards and the Welcome Center can help with directions. Students in grades five through twelve meet Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The casual dress culture ranges from jeans and T-shirts to occasional formal clothing. Visitors should make sure they are reading LaPorte details, since the site also carries events and service information for Chesterton and Valparaiso.
