Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle

About this church

Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle starts Sundays with classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:30, and evening worship at 6:00. The morning service is streamed on YouTube and generally lasts about 90 minutes; evening gatherings last about an hour. Worship uses hymns and a traditional format with a practical Bible message. There is no formal dress code, although many people wear traditional Sunday clothing. Nursery care is available for infants through age two, and separate Children’s Church rooms serve ages two through fourth grade during morning worship.

Wednesday children’s programming begins at 7:00 p.m., moving to 7:30 during summer. The church describes its wider purpose through mentoring youth and new believers, providing practical service opportunities, and reaching the community without compromising biblical teaching. Tabernacle Christian School operates alongside the congregation, adding a weekday educational ministry. Visitors can therefore expect a classic three-part Baptist Sunday, online access to the main service, carefully divided rooms for young children, and a substantial midweek family program. The official visitor guide’s direct answers about length, clothing, nursery care, and worship style remove much of the uncertainty from a first visit.
