Faith Baptist Church

About this church

Faith Baptist Church is a Rock Rapids congregation centered on worshiping and serving Jesus Christ through biblical preaching, fellowship, missions, and congregational life. Its history traces the church to an outreach booth at the Lyon County Fair in 1974 and its first service on October 5, 1975. Mission support and local ministry continue that outward focus, while the church’s welcome emphasizes a community of imperfect people following a perfect Savior.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in person and streams on the church’s Facebook page. The public calendar also advertises a local cable replay of the previous Sunday’s service, though the research pages do not clearly identify the current channel and broadcast hour. Visitors should rely on the church-specific event, history, mission, and staff pages rather than generic website-platform marketing copy that appears in the page footer. Public information does not specify service length, music style, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery care, children’s or youth schedules, check-in, volunteer screening, Communion practice, or Facebook stream delay. The website names fellowship and Sunday School but does not provide a sufficiently clear current hour for those activities, so a first-time visitor should confirm them directly.
