Freedom Church

About this church

Freedom Church holds Sunday services at 9 and 11 a.m. at 7070 SW 60th Street in Augusta. The congregation describes itself as Spirit-filled and Bible-centered, with energetic worship that may include singing, clapping, dancing, and other expressive participation. Its recurring message is to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and free people. Visitors can submit an optional advance plan-your-visit form, but the published schedule and address make either Sunday hour a straightforward first entry.

Freedom Youth participates in the two Sunday services; its Wednesday gathering runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A family dinner normally begins at 5:45 before the midweek youth service, although no dinner is served during summer or holiday breaks. Global service is organized through I Will Go Ministries. The church reports that the ministry has sent more than 110 missionaries since 2012, with work expanding from Peru, Cambodia, Romania, and U.S. destinations to Africa, Haiti, and India. That missions focus and the church's expressive worship culture give prospective visitors a clearer picture than the schedule alone. Parents can use the church's visit page to prepare for check-in, and households coming Wednesday should verify whether supper is being offered during that part of the school calendar.
