The Goddard Church

About this church

The Goddard Church is a Global Methodist congregation seeking to share the good news of Jesus through passionate worship, extravagant love, and bold witness. Sunday worship combines blended music, biblical preaching, prayer, and the sacraments within a welcoming community. Discipleship ministries span children, youth, and adults, while outreach encourages members to serve locally, nationally, and internationally. The church’s identity connects historic Methodist sacramental life with the newer Global Methodist movement and a strong emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. Godward Youth for grades six through twelve gathers Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for snacks, games, and a devotional, with additional Sunday-morning Scripture learning and mission opportunities scheduled through the year. Small groups meet Thursday at 7:00 p.m.; locations vary between the church and community settings, meals are provided, and childcare is available when needed. Because the Thursday location changes, participants should check the current group notice before driving to the Cedar Street building. Special youth missions and outreach projects do not follow one permanent hour. A first-time visitor can expect a single blended Sunday service rather than separate traditional and contemporary gatherings.
