Holy Trinity Catholic Church

About this church

Holy Trinity Catholic Church celebrates Saturday Vigil Mass at 4 p.m. and Sunday Mass at 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 13615 West 92nd Street in Lenexa. Daily Mass is at 6:45 and 8:15 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Reconciliation is offered Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 2:45 to 3:45, with appointments also available. The church is unlocked for weekend Masses, Reconciliation, and special events; the parish office is at a separate Pflumm Road address.

Holy Trinity traces its Lenexa roots to home Masses served by a Shawnee mission beginning in 1868. Twenty Catholic families received permission to organize a parish in 1880, and a small frame mission church followed in 1882. The current congregation describes itself as a Catholic family that loves, grows, and lives in faith through Jesus Christ. Hundreds of parishioners contribute thousands of volunteer hours through religious education, social outreach, liturgical work, and Communion visits to people who are homebound or hospitalized. Children and teens can connect through parish faith formation, CYO, scouting, LifeTeen, and junior-high ministry. Visitors should note the campus layout: the main church, school, parish center, Old Stone Chapel, office, and Adoration Chapel occupy several nearby addresses, and weekday summer Mass may move to the Old Stone Chapel.
