Christ Lutheran Church

About this church

Christ Lutheran Church is a Wichita congregation offering contemporary and traditional Sunday worship, Christian education, youth formation, music, and practical neighborhood care. Its schedule changes seasonally: the contemporary service remains in the morning, while the traditional service moves earlier during summer. The Human Needs ministry is a particularly concrete part of church life, preparing free bag lunches for people who need food rather than limiting outreach to general statements.

Contemporary worship begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m., followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10:15. From Labor Day through Memorial Day, traditional worship begins at 11:00; from Memorial Day through Labor Day, it begins at 10:30. Visitors should use the current season rather than treating both traditional hours as simultaneous services. Parking is available on site, with grassy overflow space when needed. A nursery and cry room support families, and the first-visit page explains how to enter and what to expect. Youth and confirmation activities maintain their own term-based schedules. Human Needs volunteers assemble free lunches as a recurring form of community service, while other ministries include music and education. Because the seasonal change falls around holiday weekends, anyone visiting near Memorial Day or Labor Day should confirm the exact transition date on the homepage or church calendar.
