Myanmar Assembly of God

About this church

Myanmar Assembly of God in Bowling Green serves a Burmese-speaking Christian community with a substantial Sunday gathering from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The official schedule identifies this as the weekly Myanmar or Burmese service. Saturday provides two additional entry points: a prayer meeting from 10:00 a.m. to noon and an English-language service from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The English gathering combines worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship, making the church accessible to young people and others who participate more comfortably in English.

The congregation describes itself as community based, using the gospel, fundraisers, community-building events, and training sessions to help members grow in Christ and contribute to the world around them. Separate church pages identify children’s, youth, and media ministries, while the volunteer invitation emphasizes matching people with useful roles rather than limiting involvement to financial support. Myanmar Assembly of God may be especially relevant to Burmese families in south-central Kentucky, multilingual households, and visitors seeking a long-form Sunday service with additional English worship and prayer on Saturday. Because weekday activities are not fully timed online, newcomers should confirm those details directly with the church.
