St. Joseph Catholic Church

About this church

St. Joseph Catholic Church is a Bowling Green parish and diocesan shrine gathering for bilingual Mass, Reconciliation, sacred music, faith formation, and service. Its practical visitor information explains Catholic worship, parking, accessibility, clothing, children, and Communion.

Saturday Vigil Mass in English begins at 4:00 p.m. Sunday English Masses are at 6:30, 8:00, and 10:00 a.m.; Spanish Masses are at noon and 2:00 p.m. Weekday English Mass is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7:45 a.m. and Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Spanish Mass is Thursday at 6:30, with first-Saturday English Mass at 8:30 a.m. Confession is offered Wednesday 4:15–5:15, Thursday 5:00–6:00, and Saturday 2:00–3:30, or by appointment. Families worship together, and worship aids help visitors follow postures and responses. The front lot, Parish Hall lot, and school lot provide parking; weekend street parking is limited to the church side. Ramp entrances and accessible parking serve mobility needs. The official site now lists 502 Church Avenue, replacing the directory’s 434 Church Avenue. Visitors who are not practicing Catholics are asked not to receive the Eucharist but may remain seated or request a blessing.
