England Hill Free Will Baptist Church

About this church

England Hill Free Will Baptist Church gathers Sundays for Bible study at 10 a.m., sanctuary worship at 10:55, and multigenerational small-group Bible studies at 6 p.m. Sunday classes serve children, young adults through college, and adults. During morning worship, a staffed nursery welcomes children through age three, while children's church serves ages three through fifth grade with a snack, singing, worship, and a recurring “Big Idea” lesson. The midweek program includes AWANA for children, youth group for middle- and high-school students, and a college class, although its current time is not published.

Founded in 1943, England Hill identifies with the National Association of Free Will Baptists and serves the Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia Tri-State area. Services allow testimonies, songs, and praise, with music ranging from bluegrass and southern gospel to modern worship. Its beliefs include water baptism by immersion, the Lord's Supper, washing the saints' feet, local-church autonomy, and worldwide evangelism. Live and archived services and a prayer-request channel are available online. England Hill's pages leave the usual duration, Communion cadence, baptism preparation, family registration and worker safeguards, clothing, parking, mobility and listening aids, and the midweek time unposted; guests relying on any of them should ask directly.
