Columbia Christian Church meets for Sunday school at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:00 a.m. Central at 206 Campbellsville Road. A Sunday-evening prayer service begins at 6:30. The independent evangelical congregation has served central Kentucky for about 150 years and is locally governed rather than affiliated with the Disciples of Christ or a denominational conference. Its single morning service is intentionally multigenerational.

Worship mixes newer songs and older hymns without aiming at one age group or preference. The church also makes prayer a substantial part of Sunday through a pastoral prayer, response after the sermon, and the evening gathering. Sunday-school classes are available for all ages, while children's and student ministries add classes, activities, service, and mission opportunities.
