Indian Hills Christian Church

About this church

Indian Hills Christian Church meets at 1200 Lexington Road in Danville with Sunday worship at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Children's Sunday School is offered during the 9:30 gathering, followed by children's worship at 11:00. Middle- and high-school students have Sunday School during the later service, allowing families with teenagers to worship together at 9:30 before students move into their own class. Wednesday programming for both children and students begins at 6:30 p.m. in their respective areas.

Indian Hills identifies itself as an independent New Testament Christian church and a community growing together in Christ. Its stated aim is to connect people with God's Word and the Holy Spirit so that their daily walk with Jesus has direction. Teaching is grounded in Scripture, and the church's beliefs describe response to the gospel through belief, repentance, confession, immersion, and obedience to Christ. A rotating body of elders and deacons serves the congregation. For visitors, the two Sunday hours make family planning unusually clear: children have a tailored option at either time, teenagers meet during the second, and adults can choose either worship service. Small groups, prayer, and midweek ministries provide routes into community after an initial Sunday visit.
