First Presbyterian Church Pikeville

About this church

First Presbyterian Church Pikeville worships at 11 a.m. Sunday at 508 Cedar Creek Road in Pikeville. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), it describes a community of Jesus’ disciples seeking to embody grace through worship, education, and service in eastern Kentucky. Its published service information provides one Sunday morning gathering rather than multiple styles or campuses, giving newcomers a straightforward entry point. The church office is open during the week for questions about current classes, access, or special services.

Children’s ministry uses secure parent check-in and check-out in the children’s wing. Teachers and volunteers receive training, complete background checks, and aim to provide a safe, age-appropriate place for Bible learning. FPC’s mission extends through eight local partner ministries addressing housing, hunger, elder care, addiction, homelessness, youth development, and spiritual growth, along with wider missionary relationships. The church’s stated vision is a community of authentic believers and a town changed through the Gospel. It presents itself as seeking to be known by love and to offer hope rather than limiting church life to Sunday attendance. Visitors who want to serve can explore partner organizations, while families can ask the church office which children’s classes operate during the current season. Since the official site lists the worship time but not a separate livestream schedule, remote viewers should contact the congregation instead of assuming the service is broadcast.
