First Baptist Church of Bogalusa

About this church

First Baptist Church of Bogalusa holds Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30. Recent services are available through the church's Facebook link, giving a first-time guest a preview of the preaching and music. On Wednesdays, a seasonal meal begins at 5 p.m. and Bible study for all ages follows at 6. Guests can tell the church they are coming through an online form so someone is ready to welcome them, though advance notice is optional. Student Sunday School meets downstairs in the Childlife Building, and grades 6–12 gather in the Family Life Center Wednesdays at 5 p.m. for Bible study, games, and worship.

Nursery care is provided during Sunday School, morning worship, and many special events. First-time caregivers register children and receive help with the continuing sign-in process. Preschoolers can attend Sunday School and, before the sermon, children age six and younger may leave for their own worship. Wednesday children's programming combines Bible study, games, and choir. Volunteers are background checked and receive safety training. Beyond weekly gatherings, children and students have camps, retreats, and activities. Mission partnerships reach from Bogalusa and Louisiana to national work and projects in Italy and London. The official pages do not identify the musical style, service length, parking, accessible entrances, clothing expectations, Communion practice, assistive listening, nursery ages, or exact Facebook broadcast schedule.
