St Albert Catholic Student Center

About this church

St. Albert Catholic Student Center serves Southeastern Louisiana University from its West Dakota Street chapel and community space. Sunday Mass is at 10:00 a.m., with Tuesday Mass at 12:30 p.m.; the center links to a weekly-change notice because academic breaks and campus events can alter the schedule. Live and recorded Masses are available online. Its mission is especially directed toward Southeastern students baptized Catholic, while explicitly welcoming people regardless of religious belief. The center aims to provide a spiritual home and develop faith, trust, charity, hope, and mature relationships during college life.

Campus connections include the Catholic Student Association, a Busy Student directed retreat, a student lunch program, Bible study, men’s and women’s groups, and several confession opportunities during semesters. Some of those weekday listings appear without day labels in the current site text, so students should verify the live weekly calendar rather than rely on a time alone. A campus minister coordinates student services, retreats, ministries, and the relationship with the student association; the center also designates a child-protection coordinator. St. Albert is at 409 West Dakota Street, making it a practical directory result for Catholic students, faculty, and Hammond residents seeking a university-centered Mass and formation community.
