Central Assembly of God

About this church

Central Assembly of God begins Sundays with Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., followed by services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Spanish worship meets Sundays at 2:30 p.m., and Wednesday programming begins at 6:30. The Haughton congregation describes its worship as authentically Pentecostal, with uplifting music, anointed preaching, biblical teaching, and fellowship. Its priorities place encountering God over entertainment, people over programs, and mission over maintenance. Published beliefs include divine healing through prayer and baptism in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as initial evidence.

Central Kids offers Sunday School at 9:15 and Kids Church at 10:30, combining God’s presence, fun, discovery of gifts, biblical resources, and partnership with parents. Students in grades six through twelve meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel for worship, a message, relationships, and practical next steps; monthly small groups deepen connection and discipleship. Central Groups bring adults together because the church sees meaningful relationships as essential to a full Christian life. The mission is to make disciples, baptize, teach, build an authentic community, and see the city changed by the gospel. The public pages do not specify service duration, Communion frequency, water-baptism preparation, children’s ages and check-in safeguards, worker screening, attire, parking, accessibility, hearing support, livestreaming, or Spanish children’s programming.
