Sanctuary Family Worship Center

About this church

Sanctuary Family Worship Center in Jena offers Sunday worship at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with Wednesday discipleship at 6:30 p.m. The congregation describes itself as a Spirit-filled, interdenominational church whose members come from varied denominational backgrounds. First-time visitors are encouraged to dress casually. Services combine contemporary worship music and familiar classics with Bible preaching, and a welcome team is available to help families find the right room or program.

Age-specific ministries include an interactive children’s program, Encounter Student Ministry, adult Bible groups for different life stages, and a school of ministry. Parents can check children in through the church app before arriving. The congregation also holds an all-ages connection night on fifth Wednesdays and makes sermons available through its app and major podcast platforms. Its published beliefs frame the church’s mission around evangelism, worship, forming believers in Christ’s image, and demonstrating compassion. For visitors, Sanctuary offers two Sunday choices, a structured midweek discipleship night, casual contemporary worship, and a clear pathway from children’s ministry through adult training.
