Christian Church at Minden

About this church

Christian Church at Minden worships Sundays at 10 a.m. at 814 Constable Street. The congregation describes itself as a world outreach center serving Minden, the country, and mission fields abroad, with worship intended to help people experience God's love and see themselves as active participants in his work. The church's media archive makes recent teaching available online, including messages connected with its student ministry. Pastoral leadership includes Paul and Ginger Gray alongside associate and youth pastors Joel and Serena Gray, whose work focuses on serving the community and investing in young people.

A particularly concrete local ministry is the Joe LeBlanc Food Pantry, which has served Webster Parish families since 2007. Rather than treating distribution as an impersonal handoff, the pantry says it seeks relationships with neighbors in need. Its published figures report more than six hundred families served each month and roughly 25,000 pounds of food at each distribution, held on the third Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. The pantry also acts as a point of contact for emergency partners including the Red Cross and Volunteers of America. Other ministry paths connect worship, students, community outreach, and global missions, giving visitors a picture of a church whose Sunday service opens into practical service.
