Immanuel Baptist Church

About this church

Immanuel Baptist Church is a Morgan City congregation that understands church life as believers in Jesus building community, fighting unbelief, encouraging one another, and using their gifts for God’s glory. Sunday School, a newcomer Journey Group, children and students, adult study, missions, women, men, and service create a weekly and monthly rhythm. Its staff pages emphasize disciple-making, apologetics, missions, and investment in the next generation.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for children from birth upward, while the Journey Group for people taking first steps with Immanuel meets at the same hour. Worship starts at 10:45, with nursery and Kids Church available. Most Wednesdays bring adult Bible study and activities for all ages at 6:00 p.m. The first Wednesday is reserved for Men’s Night at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall, following the monthly women’s gathering on the first Tuesday; the women’s time and location require confirmation through the church office. This exception matters for visitors expecting the ordinary all-ages Wednesday format. The church’s fall-update page is the stronger source for the pattern, while individual ministry pages explain age-specific goals and contacts. Families attending Sunday can choose between the 9:30 children’s learning hour and 10:45 nursery or Kids Church, and newcomers can attend Journey Group without missing the main worship service.
